Beast of Dreams
Beast of Dreams is the sixth and final studio album by the American Noise rock/Industrial band Pain Teens, released on October 24, 1995 through Trance Syndicate.
Music
Ayers has described the music on Destroy Me, Lover as being "weirder" than on previous releases, citing the inclusion of instruments such as a sitar, violin, and upright bass as attributing to the records diverse sound.[1]
Reception
Vincent Jeffries of allmusic gave it 3 out of 5 stars, complimenting Ayers playing but noting that the record soon becomes "synthetic and repetitive."[2] Piero Scaruffi reviewed the album more positively, giving it an 6.5 out of 10, calling it a "display of Ayers' magician's skills via a series of musical abstractions."
